Max won his second Green Star with Best of Breed
at the Munster Championship Show on the 5th June. In Gundog Group 8
he was then awarded Group 2 by judge Mrs C Muldoon. We are so
grateful to the judges for a great day for our boy. The dog that
beat Max in the Group went on to get BIS is a top winning American Cocker
Spaniel who won the Gundog group at Crufts in 2008.
The next day at the Cork show Max again did well this time taking the
Reserve Dog Green Star behind his uncle Charlie (Weisford Charlie's
Chocolate Factory) that is Charlie's twelfth Green Star!

May
We were thrilled for Katherina
Savage when last November she made up her Caoimhe son, Charlie , into an
Irish Show Champion an event made all the more exciting as we were there
when she won her seventh Green Star at the Bull Breeds Champ Show in Dublin.
We were doubly delighted when at the Fermoy International Show this May
she again took the dog Green Star and with it her fourth CACIB under FCI
regulations. This entitles Charlie to be known as:
Int Sh Ch and Sh Ch Weisford Charlie's Chocolate Factory CJW07
(Riverdance Spring Azalea at
Weisford x Purbarn Gales 'N Golden Rain)
Congratulations to Katherina and to all at the
Weisford kennel. |

Taking the opportunity
of doing two shows on successive days saw us take Max to the UGRC show in
Belfast. The show was the first UK show we had entered in ten years
and we were so impressed with the show's organisation. The judge
Everett Massey (Seamourne) placed Max first in a high quality Junior
class. This win qualified Max for Crufts 2011. The following
day Max again won the Junior class at the Banbridge show under judge
Doreen McGugan (Invergoil) a good week-end showing.
We had campaigned Max to compete for the Irish
Junior Champion title, to achieve this he needed to win five first places
in Junior class all with an excellent judges grading. He did this in
style at the Combined Championship show under Frank Kane he can now be
known as Riverdance Dot Matrix Jun Ch
